Following completion of the Chicago and Toronto marathons, Black Lungs Toronto wishes to congratulate all ‘the Black Lungs’ for their successful seasons in which many set new personal bests in the marathon (some by substantial margins) and other distances. Your hard work and commitment has paid off and BLT is excited to continue to produce further improvements and promote both individual and collective/club success. Congratulations to all!

Black Lungs Toronto also congratulates Lanni Marchant for setting a new Canadian record (2:28:00) as well as to Krista DuChene who also beat the former record and set a considerable PB of 2:28:32. Also to Natasha Wodak for an impressive debut in 2:35:16, to Rob Watson on his 4th 42.2 in 7 months and slight PB of 2:13:29 and Eric Gillis who went for the record but fell just shy in 2:11:49. BLT is a proud supporter and fan of elite running, especially here in Canada, and wish the best for our local and national elites.
