Black Lungs Toronto will be sending our biggest ever team to compete in the annual Cabot Trail Relay Race on Cape Breton, N.S. on May 28/29.
This will be our fifth straight year at the event which features 17 legs covering 276K of the iconic and incredibly scenic Cabot Trail.
Last year, the team successfully ‘defended’ second place overall, a position we have held every year since 2012. The 2015 team also set a ‘The Black Lungs’ Cabot record of 17:09:11, an average pace of 3:43/K!
Good luck to the 15 runners on this year’s team, who are rumoured to have it in tough to make it five consecutive years claiming “so so silver” 2nd place. May the winds be at your backs!
There is now just over one month until the 120th running of the Boston Marathon on Monday, April 18th. Today the B.A.A. released the bib and wave assignments for all participants. Good luck to the Boston-bound Black Lungs as they prepare for their final stretch of training.
The results speak for themselves…
